About
Astrorift is a mobile-first browser space roguelite where you build your ship, dive into hostile sectors, and fight your way home stronger after every run.
Take on fast arcade-style space combat, survive waves of enemy factions, collect upgrades, and return to the hub to improve your ship for the next mission. Each run pushes you deeper into dangerous territory, with tougher encounters, stronger rewards, and bigger threats waiting ahead.
The main game is hosted at https://astrorift.pages.dev/ so saves, offline support, and future updates stay consistent across releases.

Controls
Astrorift is designed primarily for mobile touch play, with a portrait-friendly layout and touch controls built for quick runs.
Mobile/touch: Play directly in your mobile browser using on-screen controls. For the best experience, open the game at http://astrorift.pages.dev/ and add it to your home screen as a PWA.
Keyboard/mouse: Fully supported for desktop browser play.
Gamepad: Supported on compatible browsers. Plug in a controller before or during play. Refresh if your browser does not detect it immediately.
Saves And Offline Play
Astrorift saves progress locally in your browser on the device you are using. That means your save belongs to that browser and device.
After the first successful load, the game can run offline as a PWA from http://astrorift.pages.dev/. For the most reliable experience, play from the official game URL rather than an embedded page.
If you clear browser data, switch devices, use private browsing, or change browsers, your local save may not be available. Use the in-game data export/import tools when moving progress or backing up your save.
Current Status
Astrorift is in active development and launching as a playable browser release.
The current focus is mobile touch feel, combat feel, ship progression, mission variety, boss encounters, offline support, and save stability. Expect updates, tuning changes, new content, and quality-of-life improvements after launch.
